Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the UNO online game platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. The Service is available through web browsers and as a Telegram Mini App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account

You may create an account through Telegram authentication, email registration, or supported OAuth providers. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. In-Game Currencies

The Service uses virtual currencies ("Coins" and "Stars") for gameplay purposes.

• Virtual currencies have no real-world monetary value.
• Virtual currencies cannot be exchanged for real money or any item of monetary value.
• Virtual currencies are non-transferable between accounts (except through gameplay mechanics).
• Purchases of virtual currencies are final and non-refundable, except as required by law.
• We reserve the right to modify the pricing, availability, and earning rates of virtual currencies at any time.

5. Gameplay & Fair Play

When using the Service, you agree to:

• Play fairly and not use any cheats, exploits, bots, or automated tools
• Not manipulate or interfere with the game server, network traffic, or other players' connections
• Not collude with other players to gain an unfair advantage
• Not create multiple accounts to manipulate matchmaking or rankings
• Not intentionally disconnect to avoid losses or grief other players
• Respect other players and not engage in harassment or abusive behavior

Violations of fair play rules may result in penalties including temporary bans, permanent account suspension, and forfeiture of virtual currency balances.

6. Game Rules & House Fee

Games follow the standard UNO rules as implemented in the Service. Players bet virtual currencies to enter a game. The winner receives the combined pot minus a 5% house fee. The specific rules for each game mode, including turn timers and player limits, are documented on the Game Modes page. We reserve the right to modify game rules, fees, and mechanics at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Boosts & Purchases

Boosts are consumable in-game items that provide temporary advantages during gameplay. Boosts are purchased with virtual currencies and are consumed upon use. Unused boosts remain in your account indefinitely unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to modify boost effects, pricing, and availability.

8. Tournaments

Tournaments are organized competitive events with specific entry requirements, schedules, and prize structures. By entering a tournament, you agree to its specific rules and schedule. Tournament entry fees are non-refundable once the tournament has begun. We reserve the right to cancel, modify, or reschedule tournaments. In the event of cancellation, entry fees will be refunded.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, graphics, sounds, and gameplay mechanics, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our explicit written permission. UNO is a trademark of Mattel, Inc. This Service is an independent fan-made implementation and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mattel, Inc.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for virtual currencies in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We are not responsible for losses incurred during periods of unavailability, including in-progress games that may be interrupted.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any reason at our discretion with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and any virtual currency balances will be forfeited.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or Telegram bot at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
