Getting Started Tutorial
New to Durak online? This step-by-step guide walks you through joining a room, reading the table, and finishing your first match. It takes about 5 minutes to read.
1
Open the App
Open Durak from Telegram by finding the bot or tapping a game link shared by a friend. You can also play through a browser on desktop, tablet, or mobile.
2
Create Your Account
When opening from Telegram, your account is created from your Telegram profile. Browser players can also sign in with email or OAuth providers when enabled.
Your profile includes a display name, avatar, level, balance, and match history. New accounts receive a starting balance for their first games.
3
Explore the Interface
The main navigation has these key sections:
- Home — join quick games, create rooms, inspect open tables, and view your balance.
- Quests — daily and weekly objectives that reward bonus Coins, boosts, and XP.
- Leaderboard — see how you rank against other players.
- Profile — view your stats, match history, level progression, and settings.
4
Start Your First Game
- 1On the Home screen, choose a quick game or open the room list.
- 2For your first table, use the default 36-card deck and simple rules.
- 3Choose a low bet while learning the table flow.
- 4Matchmaking or the room list fills the table with players using compatible settings.
- 5When enough players are ready, a countdown starts and the game begins.
5
Play Your Cards
During the game:
- Your cards — appear at the bottom of the screen. Playable attack or defense cards are highlighted.
- Tap or drag a card — to attack, defend, throw in, or transfer when the current role allows it.
- Deck and trump — show the remaining card stack and the trump suit for this round.
- Take or Beat — defenders take when they cannot cover the attack; attackers say Beat when all attacks are covered.
- Role markers — show who is attacking, defending, throwing in, or transferring the attack.
- Timer — watch the circular timer around the active player and act before time runs out.
6
Win and Earn Rewards
After the game ends:
- Safe players — empty their hands after the deck is exhausted and leave the round.
- The fool — is the last player left with cards and loses the round.
- Rewards — are paid from the room bet rules, with XP and progression updates after the result screen.
- Level up — when your XP reaches the threshold, you level up and unlock rewards.
